Description

A major transport company is offering a 3.5-year apprenticeship starting on 1 September 2026 for the role of Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering.

The programme provides training in maintaining and servicing electrical infrastructure that supports safe and reliable railway operations. Apprentices gain practical experience in working with control and safety systems that are essential for rail traffic.

The training also includes learning how to identify, analyse, and resolve technical faults in electrical systems, as well as acquiring knowledge in measurement, testing, and diagnostic procedures.


Responsibilities

ou will work outdoors in the railway network as part of a team.

During your training, you will become familiar with the maintenance and repair of signalling and control systems, such as signals, point motors, and level crossing systems.

You will also learn how to analyse and resolve faults in electrical operating systems as an electronics technician for industrial engineering.

In addition, you will be trained in measurement, testing, and diagnostic procedures.


Requirements

Your profile:

  • You have (or will soon have) successfully completed your schooling, and your qualification is recognised in Germany
  • Your German language skills are at least at B2 level
  • You enjoy mathematics and physics
  • You are practically skilled and enjoy working with electronic components
  • You are a team player and reliable
  • You also enjoy working independently
