The Institute of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology and Nuclear Medicine covers a broad spectrum of modern imaging modalities. These include 1.5T and 3T MRI, MDCT, DSA with Dyna-CT (CB-CT), conventional X-ray diagnostics including fluoroscopy, as well as ultrasound examinations. In the field of nuclear medicine, both scintigraphy and PET/CT scans are performed.

The institute is fully digitalized and operates with RIS and PACS systems, as well as voice recognition software. In addition, it is connected via teleradiology.

The hospital network is a provider of maximum care with multiple locations and comprises numerous facilities. Overall, it treats a very high number of inpatient and outpatient patients from the entire region each year. Several thousand employees ensure comprehensive medical care, research, and teaching at a high professional level.


Responsibilities

Your new area of responsibility:

  • Assistance with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures (e.g., vascular interventions, drainages, tumor therapies)
  • Preparation, positioning, and care of patients before, during, and after interventional procedures
  • Operation and monitoring of the medical technology used
  • Documentation and participation in quality assurance measures
  • Close collaboration within a multidisciplinary team consisting of physicians, nursing staff, radiologic technologists (MTRAs), and anesthesiology staff

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Completed training as a radiologic technologist (MTR/MTRA), a qualified nursing professional, or a medical assistant (MFA)
  • Interest in interventional radiology and technical-medical procedures
  • Ideally prior experience in an operating theatre, functional diagnostics, or interventional setting
  • A strong sense of responsibility, teamwork skills, and a structured and organized working style
