The intensive care unit is a small but highly dedicated department with six beds, a committed and compassionate team, and a shared goal of providing patients with the highest level of care combining professional expertise and humanity.
The hospital is part of a larger healthcare organisation with an academic teaching function in cooperation with a university medical centre. It also has a special focus on the specialised medical and nursing care of people with disabilities.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Care for intensive care patients with impaired vital functions as part of an interdisciplinary team working in a three-shift system
- Application of up-to-date professional knowledge and implemented nursing and care concepts, as well as evaluation of the effectiveness of measures taken
- Monitoring of invasive and non-invasive therapies for assigned ICU patients and initiation of life-saving measures when required
- Participation in the in-house resuscitation (code blue) team
Requirements
Profile
- Completed training as a qualified nurse (f/m/d), nursing professional, or a university degree in a dual bachelor’s programme in nursing
- Specialist training in anaesthesia and intensive care nursing or prior experience in an intensive care unit is desirable
- Strong team player with a high value placed on collaboration with colleagues
- Commitment and a strong sense of responsibility
