Job Opportunity

The company is currently seeking a Programmer for its site in Berlin, to start as soon as possible.

In this role, you will design, develop, and optimise control systems and software solutions for automated machinery and equipment in accordance with defined specifications. In addition to software development and optimisation, you will also perform maintenance and fault diagnosis tasks and support the technical service team in electrical engineering activities.


Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities as a Programmer

  • Independent development of software for automation systems using Siemens SIMATIC S5/S7/TIA, as well as maintenance of existing programs
  • Software engineering and adaptation of visualization systems (WinCC)
  • Training and instruction of colleagues on plant systems
  • Analysis, localisation, and resolution of faults in production equipment
  • Execution of maintenance and modification work, machine run tests, etc.
  • Implementation of preventive technical measures
  • Completion and documentation of repair work
  • Ensuring compliance with performance, quality, and occupational safety standards 

Requirements

Your Profile as a Programmer 

  • Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Automation Technology or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience
  • Excellent knowledge of Siemens PLC systems (S5/S7/TIA), fieldbus technology (Profibus DP/PA), WinCC, and Ethernet systems
  • Reliability, accuracy, commitment, quality awareness, and team spirit
  • Strong passion for problem-solving and willingness to participate in all required training programs
  • Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and on-call duty
