At the company’s site in Limburg, the organisation is currently seeking a PLC Programmer / Commissioning Engineer (m/f/d) – Automation Technology at the earliest possible start date.
Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities
- Development and commissioning of complex PLC software solutions, including programming of special-purpose machinery, safety-related control systems, and frequency converters, as well as associated user interfaces
- Creation of assembly documentation and software documentation to ensure transparent, traceable, and high-quality project handover
- Conducting complete system tests prior to software delivery, including identification and resolution of potential issues to ensure smooth operation at the customer site
- Close collaboration with electrical and mechanical design teams, and providing expert support throughout the entire commissioning phase as a key technical point of contact
Requirements
Your Profile
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or successfully completed further training as a certified technician , or a comparable qualification
- Experience in the commissioning of special-purpose machinery is desirable
- Solid knowledge of PLC programming using Siemens SIMATIC S7 Manager, TIA Portal, and HMI visualization is required
- Knowledge of VBScript, S7-Graph, or KUKA systems is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills, quick comprehension, and a structured, solution-oriented working approach
- Willingness to travel for international assignments
- Good command of German (B2 level) and English (B2 level)
